THE PATHWAY PROJECT *** Are you between the ages of 15 and 30, out of school and out of work? The Pathway Project may be just the thing for you. Participants are paid to look for work - plus, you'll get Food Safe, customer service and First Aid certifications . How cool is that? AND we can offer a wage subsidy to an employer as an incentive to hire you! Amazing! Give Jen or Randy a call! 250-391-1487. OR come by and check out the project in person - 101-847 Goldstream, behind Timmy's.

Group 22 move to their jobs...
It has been an eventful 8 weeks of workshops! Climbing rock walls in Metchosin, heated rounds of Hot Seat, visits from employers and daily bouts of checking in and checking out, participants from Group 22 are now working in new jobs. Behind that certificate, participants now hold a First Aid and FoodSafe certification, a well rehearsed 30-second commercial that any employer would appreciate, not to mention a grade 12 secondary school credit.
Congrats to all of you! Stay in touch and please stop in to share your wisdom with participants of our next group.

WAY TO GO Group 21!!
Participants from Group 21 celebrated their last day of workshops on Friday. Now PATHWAY Graduates, these young people are off to work for places like COB's Bread, SportMart, and Future Shop. Others have decided that this is the perfect time to return to school to complete their high school diplomas. Some are doing both!!
We asked the Grads of Group 21 if they had any advice for the incoming participants of Group 22 - here's one piece of brilliance that one particularly reflective participant contributed:
"Don't take this knowledge for granted...Think about knowledge this way: Some of the choices you have made have led you here. Some of these choices you have to work on in order to be successful in life. Take in knowledge because it will help - do not deny it. It is only hard if you make it that way."
It was our pleasure and privilege to work with such a powerful group of young adults.
Congratulations Grads! Keep in touch...

Group 21 reaches the HALF WAY POINT!
Through thick and thin, Group 21 has 'assertively' reached the half way point. Through outdoor adventure training, communication coaching, customer service training and all the check ins and outs, they are flying along the 'path'! This group is an excellent mix of creativity, courage and cool. It's amazing to see how much they have achieved already!
On to job search.....
